The Foundation for Scientific Modeling aims at promoting interdisciplinary research relying on modeling techniques in the fields of economics, mathematics, physics and computer science. A particular emphasis is put on using the combined methodologies and areas of expertise in these research subjects can improve our understanding of major issues of contemporary societies.

This is a call for applications for funding scientific events. The event should benefit from a substantial additional source of funding in addition to the amount requested from FSM. The event description should indicate how the organizers plan on communicating on the impact of the event with regard to societal issues or improving the scientific awareness of the general public. Part of this communication should be posted on an FSM media channel.

In all cases, the applicant must be a permanent affiliate of one of the research partners of FSM.
